Life Cycle of a Monarch Butterfly
After being inspired by a video of the life cycle of a butterfly the Skyhawks decided to get their own swan plants and caterpillars. We observed the caterpillars and watched how they formed a chrysalis to prepare for their final transformation.
So far two butterflies have emerged. There is still on more to come out and we have one caterpillar that is getting fatter each day.
