Mr Griffiths is a student teacher from Hamilton.

Making Smores

7 days to go till Camp!

Today the Skyhawks made their own version of smores.

We used malt biscuits, nutella and marshmallows.

Smores are a kind of camping food.

We really enjoyed making the smores.

Our favourite part was getting to eat them at the end. Yum!

Playing on the new playground!

Our new Playground

For the last three weeks we have been watching our new playground being built on our school field.

We have been building the ultimate playground during brain time and have been trying to guess what it might look like.

Jay made a tall tower

This is an amazing playground. We used 'Working with Others' to make it!

This is a rainbow walkway to get to the playground.

In this playground we have included a sandpit and a swimming pool.

This is the road to get to the playground.

This week we have been Habit of Mind detectives looking for all 16 HOM around the school.

We created an amazing assembly item to show everybody at Rowandale how mindful we are:

So the whole class was awarded the mindful award!

Welcome back!

The Skyhawks are very excited about being back at school.

We have been busy preparing for our assembly this week.

Here is clue about what we have been doing.

Can you work out what we have been doing?

We hope to see you on Friday, where all will be revealed!
